Love it, especially the color combo.
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:11 |

There certainly seem to be a high number of car purchases in the last month around here

here’s a white one https://bakersfield.craigslist.org/cto/d/2001-lexus-lx470/6723156815.html

Hey, let’s not make this about color.
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:32 |
|
i just figured you’d want it to match.
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:33 |
|
You would correct, because I’ll never find the forest green w/ vvti
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:39 |
|
Forest green needs gold emblems, as Toyota is stuck in 1996.

My work carfax thingy shows last uploaded service was at 149,457 miles in July of 2015.
Te mpting, but who has been servicing it?
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:39 |
|
It’s listed as unsold and still available
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:41 |
|
Also, why buy LC when you can have LX470 for less?
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:42 |
|
I love it.
It loves me.
We’re best friends like friends should be -- with some great big lugs and some torque from here to there. Won’t you say they’re pretty rare?
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:53 |
|
no its still available on their website
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:55 |
|
the lexus’s have 70K more miles and ugly colors. id rather have that sweet sweet maroon
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:55 |
|
yeah thts what caught my eye for sure.
![]() 10/26/2018 at 14:56 |
|
i updated it with the link to the selling dealerships website that lists it as still available
![]() 10/26/2018 at 15:41 |

The reason why the Lexus LX’s are cheaper is due to their standard and rather finicky air suspension that’s extremely expensive to replace when it fails. Most land cruisers are luckily equippend without, making them a lower maintaince choice.
![]() 10/26/2018 at 15:42 |
|
lol, but i want the other one now! :P
![]() 10/26/2018 at 16:06 |
|
thats good to know
![]() 10/26/2018 at 17:16 |
|
But by that logic, wouldn’t just swapping the air ride out just save you money?
![]() 10/26/2018 at 17:24 |
|
It does, but its not easy. In addition to removing all the components, you then need new shocks, springs, and torsion bars.
![]() 10/26/2018 at 17:36 |
|
I think it’s about $2k to swap out, so it evens out the pricing of the two suv’s A bit.
![]() 10/26/2018 at 22:31 |
|
Like you said, you could trade that little Toyota for an LX470 pretty easily.
![]() 10/27/2018 at 00:17 |

Do it!

Ad by buying the Toyota in the first place the pirce is even and you've got less miles
